This is a unique celestite cluster carved naturally into a crescent or moon-shaped formation, featuring large, well-formed crystals inside the opening. The crystals are smooth, translucent and bright sky-blue, with a clean natural shine. This shape is highly uncommon and makes the piece stand out as both a mineral specimen and a decorative object. The celestite weighs 1224 g and offers an impressive presence, perfect for display, collection or interior decoration. The crystals inside the crescent are thick, glossy and beautifully arranged, giving the piece a serene and luminous appearance.
This specimen is part of a highly curated selection from Madagascar. My collaborator on site carefully searches through large arrivals from the mines to choose only the best pieces based on color, crystal clarity and structure. This crescent celestite is one of those exceptional finds.
